The Desert Horticultural Society is an organization of people who share an interest in desert gardening with an emphasis on water conservation.  We plan field trips, educational presentations and community events and hold quarterly meetings at The Living Desert in Palm Desert.  Meetings are on the second Wednesday in January, April, and October starting at 6 p.m.  Meetings include a featured speaker or presentation, as well as an opportunity for members to share experiences and learn from fellow gardeners.  Meetings often begin with a plant exchange amongst the attendees.
